I go every where with my service dachshund Dixie Mae Doxie and our family, but we have two other little dogs, and even though Dixie Mae is welcome everywhere, we want our whole family to be welcome too. The best dog friendly beaches in Northeast Florida can be found in St. Johns County, which includes St. Augustine Beach, Vilano Beach, and several others. St. Augustine Beach alone is 40 miles long! As long as we are respectful, and we pick up our doggie droppings, keeping our doggies on leads, there are few places in all of St. Johns County that our pets are not welcome, and nearby St. Augustine is a wealth of shops and restaurants which do welcome dogs! We had a doggone great time!!! Or as Dixie Mae, Peanut Pumpkin Pie and Pixel Blue Eyes would say, we had a tail-wagging good time! :o)
